Prix Européen « Civisme, Sécurité et Défense » 2015

Communiqué de presse : résultat du concours

La médaille de la présidence française, le Trophée européen et l'Ours de Berlin.

Le Prix Européen « Civisme, Sécurité et Défense » est destiné à récompenser des actions particulièrement remarquables en faveur du développement du civisme européen, ainsi que de la « Conscience européenne de sécurité et de défense », définie comme le volet civique de la Politique de Sécurité et de Défense Commune (PSDC).

Ce concours est organisé depuis 2011 par l'Association « Civisme, Défense, Armée, Nation » (CiDAN) en collaboration avec l'Association Européenne de Sécurité et de Défense, sous le Patronage de l’Assemblée parlementaire européenne et de la Représentation en France de la Commission européenne. Le Président de la République française lui a accordé son soutien personnel pour la troisième année consécutive.

En 2015, le Prix européen « Civisme, Sécurité et Défense » a pu à nouveau s’appuyer sur un partenariat fort avec le Groupe allemand ProPress, l’association EuroISME et la Gesellschaft für Sicherheitspolitik.

Le jury s’est réuni le mardi 3 novembre 2015 à la Représentation en France de la Commission européenne sous la présidence de Monsieur Robert WALTER, membre de la Chambre des Communes (UK) et Président de l’Association Européenne de Sécurité et de Défense.

Après étude de l’ensemble des dossiers, cinq d’entre eux ont été primés par le jury :
- Prix européen « Civisme, Sécurité et Défense » 2015 : Organisation non gouvernementale « Appel de Genève » (SUISSE) ;
- Prix spécial du Jury : Ecole primaire Cousteau (FRANCE) ;
- Prix spécial « Ethique militaire » : Pr David Rodin (GRANDE-BRETAGNE –SUISSE) ;
- Prix spécial « Information et Education à la Défense et à la Sécurité dans la Vie Civique » : Association Liga dos Amigos do Museu Militar (PORTUGAL) ;
- Prix spécial « Mémoire partagée » : Fondation du Mémorial de l’OTAN (FRANCE) ;
- Prix spécial « Centenaire de la Grande Guerre » : « FRANCE 40 » (FRANCE).

Les Prix ont été remis à Berlin le 18 novembre 2015.

European Award for « Citizenship, Security and Defense »   2015

Press release: Award Results.

The European Award for “Citizenship, Security and Defence” is intended to reward outstanding efforts towards promoting European Citizenship and “European Security and Defence awareness”, defined as the civic aspect of the CSDP.

Since 2011, this award has been organized by the French Association “Civisme, Défense, Armée, Nation” (CiDAN), together with the inter-parliamentary European Security and Defense Association (ESDA), under the High Patronage of the President of the European Council and under the Patronage of the Representation in France of the European Commission.

In 2015, the European Award for “Citizenship, Security and Defence” once again benefits from a strong partnership with the German Group ProPress, the Robert Schuman Foundation and the Gesellschaft für Sicherheitspolitik. The President of the French Republic has again lent his personal support for this initiative as the European parliamentary Assembly.

The jury met on Tuesday 3 November, 2015 in the Representation in France of the European Commission and was chaired by Robert WALTER, Member of the UK Parliament, President of the European Security and Defense Association and President, the Berlin Security Conference.

After a thorough study of the candidatures, six were rewarded by the jury. These prizes will be presented at the Berlin Security Conference on Wednesday 18 November 2015 :

European Award :

- NGO "Geneva Call" (SWITZERLAND) ;

- Jury's Special Award : Elementary school Cousteau (FRANCE) ;

- Special Award "Military Ethics" : Pr. David Rodin (SWITZERLAND and UK). This award is presented by CiDAN and EuroISME ;

- Special Award "Information and education on Defense and Security in the civic life" : Liga dos Amigos do Museu Militar (PORTUGAL) ;

- Special Award "Shared Memory" : Fédération du Mémorial de l'OTAN (FRANCE) (NATO Memorial Federation) ;

- Special Award "Centenary of the Great War" : « France 40 » association (FRANCE).
